Final Topics

Module 1 

There are many different people in the world. They are:  Russian, English, Spanish, Mexican, Chilean, Polish, Peruvian and etc. I live in Russia and it is my motherland. The Russian flag is the symbol of Russia. The colors of the Russian flag are white, blue and red. People of different countries have different appearance, jobs and hobbies. Some of hobbies: volleyball, cycling, writing, painting, horse-riding and photography. My favourite hobby is painting, because I like draw. Women and men have different interesting jobs like fire fighter, actress, vet, pilot and etc. My father is direction, he likes his job. People in warm countries go in for canoeing, swimming, golf and surfing. American swimmers the best in the world. For example, Michael Phelps. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He is tall and well-built. In the cold countries people good at hockey, ski, bobsleigh, figure skating and snowboarding. Russian figure skating the best in the world. For example, Evgeniy Plushenko. He has straight fair hair and blue eyes. Evgeniy is tall and slim. His birthday is on 3rd November. And he is 1.78m tall. Evgeniy has got 16 Olympic gold medal. He is the best figure skater of all time. Evgeniy is my favourite figure skater!  


Module 2  

There are many different houses in the world. In the usual house people have bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living room. Living room is the biggest room in the house. In it people have big sofa, armchairs, lamp, cushions and TV. There are fridge, dishwasher, toaster in the kitchen. People have many other things in the bedroom and bathroom. But we can see wonderful houses. For example, Nautilus house. It in the Mexico City and architect of this house is Javier Senosain. The house has got 2 floors and spiral staircases. Inside there is a living room, a huge bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. There are plants in every room. The bathroom is blue and yellow with small windows everywhere. It’s very bright. In the living room there is a grass carpet on the floor. It is like Alice in Wonderland. But sometimes we leave our houses and go to the rest. We can have holidays in the New York. For example, Speedboat Ride around the Statue of Liberty. This 43-metre statue is on Liberty Island and it’s the symbol of American independence. The 30-minute ride is the best chance to take great photographs and have fun. There is a bout every hour. And we can take horse-and-carriage ride in Central Park. There’s a 6-mile path through beautiful trees and it’s a great way to see this huge park. We can watch films in Skyride-cinema. This cinema in the skyscraper with 102 floors. The Skyride on the 2nd floor Is a fun flight around city. We can visit different lakes. For example, lake Titicaca in Peru. People live on the floating islands of this lake. Every day islands in a different place on the lake, which is 3, 812m above sea level. These floating islands are home to to about 300 people. There homes are small reed huts with 1 room. There is only 1 bed for the whole family. During our holidays we can visit different shops: baker’s, butcher’s, supermarket, clothes shop. My favourite shop is clothes shop. 
Module 3 

Hello. My name is Dasha and I’m 11 years old. I am a student and I study in school “7 keys” and every morning I go to school, besides weekends. School days can be the best days of a child's life. I learn a lot of interesting things and I can make friends last a lifetime. Children in England attend secondary school between the ages of 11 and 16. They learn a lot of different subjects like English, Math, Science, Geography and Art. 
And after school children and their parents can go to the ZOO. And they can visit Snake Farm. Bill Hernandez milking snakes every day. He works in Florida, USA. His daily routine is dangerous. The snakes often bite Bill on his hands and arms. Every morning, Bill gets up early and walks to the farm. He catches different types of poisonous snakes from their enclosures and milks them in his laboratory. In the afternoons, Bill and his team make medicine or antivenin from snakes’ venom. And in the evenings, Bill tries to forget all about snakes! He walks his puppy, Holly, and watches a DVD before he goes to bed. 
 There are many different animals in the Russia. Brown bear is a main animal in the Russia. It is a biggest animal of Russia. Many brown bears live in the mountains and forest. Brown bear has a large round head with small round ears and long mouth with 42 teeth. It likes berries and nuts, fish, honey and grasses.  This brown bear is a beautiful animal and is a favorite character of Russian fairytales and cartoons. It is the national symbol of Russia.  
 What's like to wake up in the morning and see Lynne, a 5-metre tall Rothschild giraffe, staring through your window? It sounds strange, but this is a normal morning at the Giraffe Manor, a hotel in Kenya, Africa. Every morning before 9 o'clock, the giraffes walk over and put their heads through the open windows to see what's for breakfast. In the wild, giraffes eat leaves and twigs, but here at the hotel they prefer a slice of toast and some orange juice. These playful creatures are like members of the family. Each one has its own name and personality. Lynne is the leader and loves treats from the guests. Arlene likes hugs while Barney is like typical teenager- even through he's only 3.  
Also children can visit different circus school. In amazing school children learn to juggle and fly fast. This school in Wodonga and Australia. The students at this school study circus skill such as acrobatics, clowning trapeze and etc. Students have got usual subjects too. And they have got special uniform and swith their mobile phones in class. After leaving the circus school some students become performers, and others don’t. I admire the professionalism of circus performers, but I don’t want to study at circus school, but I like to watch different circus shows. 



Module 4






























Module 5

There were a lot of interesting thihgs in the past. For example, ancient buildings and other. And I wanted to tell you about ancient things. I promise, our excursion will interesting!

Pompeii was an ancient Roman city near Naples and MT Vesuvius,a volcano in Italy. Pompeii was in 79 AD. This city had: large amphitheatre, theatves where people watched performances,temples,public baths,building had running water.The town of Pompeil had: baker`s,restaurants,hotel.In 79 AD eruption of MT vesurius had happend and the city, and the town was destroyed and buried.

Then we go to the Egypt. Ancient Egyptians lived along the banks of the river Nile in northeast Africa.Pharaohs ruler this great and powerful empire for more than 2"500 years. The ancient Egyptians lived in houses made of mud bricks,but they also built houses and large pyramids from stone.They worked as farmers and artists. Ancient Egypt had a great civilisation which many people still study and admire today.

Loook at the Mediterranean Sea.The ancient Phoenicians were a great civilisation that inhabited the east coast of the Mediterranean Sea.The Phoenician civilisation lasted over 1,000 years. It began about 1550 BC and ended about 300 BC. The Phoenicians were the best shipbuilders and sailors of the ancient world. For more than 400 years, they ruled the seas! They were the first people to learn how to sail usign the stars at night. The Phoenicians were brilliant traders too. They sailed their ships around the Mediterranean, and sold things like wood and glass to the Greeks, Romans, and Egyptians.One special item that they straded made them very rich. It was a purple-coloured dye. Purple was the colour of royalty in ancient times. No one in the ancient world knew how to make purple clothes except the Phoenicians.

We can visit this hamlet. Machu Picchu is an ancient Inka site in the Andes Mountains in Peru. It dates back to 1436. 24th July, 1911. Hiram Bingham, an American archaeologist discovered stone buildings with thick walls, homes for the people and a beautiful palace for the emperor. There was even a huge pyramid. The city also had a tall tower, temples, storage rooms, baths, about 150 houses and a park. The Incas were clever people and they knew how to do many things. They weren't only great builders and astronomers. They were also good farmers. They constructed terraced fields around the city and they grew potatoes, corn and cocoa. Machu Picchu was a great city. Hundreds of people lived there. Then, one day, they left, and no one really knows why.

Also we can look at the ancient tribes.The Kwakiutl were fishermen. They had large wooden houses. Seven families could live in one house. They had canoes for fishing, hunting and trading. They used animal skin and even wood to make their winter clothes. The Navajo were farmers and grew crops. They lived in houses made of earth and wood. They travelled on foot. Sometimes dogs pulled them on sleds. The women farmed, looked after children and did the housework. The men hunted and protected the tribe. At first, The Cheyenne lived like the Navajo. When the Europeans brought horses to America, they left their and moved from place to place. The men hunted buffalo. The women built their houses called 'tepees'. They used buffalo skin. They could take them down and move the village in an hour!

We look in Merlin. He is one of the most fascinating figures in British mythology. He was wizard, a poet, a teacher, and an advisor to kings. His story is full of mystery and magic. In the 6_th century the Kings of Britian were fighting great battles with foreign enemies. News of Merlin`s and magical abilities reached King Uther and he became the King`s advisor. Even today, people wonder if Merlin was more than just a character of medeival stories. Real or not, Merlin continues to fascinate people whenever they hear his story.

Then we go to the house ofСatherine the great. She was born in Stettin, Prussia (now Szczecin in Poland), on 2nd May 1729. Her fater was Prince Christian August of the Anhelt family. He was a Prussian army officer and was governor of Stettin. In the 18th wealthy children had their own private teachers and so Catherine received a lot of her education from her French nanny Babette. She learnt French, German, History, Religion and Music. When Catherine was fifteen she went to Russia where she married the Grand Duke Peter in 1745. In Desember 1761, Peter III became Emperator of Russia and Сatherine his empress. During her reign she made Russian a great nation.

And at the end of our excursion we can listen music of 60s. Music was very important to teenagers in the 1960s. They were crazy about music and they listened to their favourite rock and roll bands, like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, on the new radio station, BBC Radio 1. Young people also enjoyed dancing in the '60s. They wore the latest fashions at the dance halls and danced all night long.

I liked Machu Picchu, because It's my text and I like huge pyramid, tall tower, temples and storage rooms in ancient Inca site. Many ancient city changed, and a lot of ancient things remained.




Module 6
All people travel around the world. This final topic I can start with amazing adventures and I want to tell you  about them.
  Arseny had a brilliant time here in Perth, Australia. He took some great photographs. The water was so clear, and the dolphins swam really close to Arseny.
Dina was in Egypt. There's so much to see and explore; history really comes to life here. She went on a river cruise down the Nile, travelling south. After that she took a helicopter ride over the source of the Nile. Dina was so excited in Egypt!
Vlad was in Sicily, Italy. It's a really interesting island, with a great climate and beautiful coastlines. He saw some fantastic ancient ruins, and went swimming on beautiful beaches. He also climbed up Mount the largest active volcano in Europe and it can get pretty hot up there!

Also people can visit other countries and cities. For example, London.
Nick had a strange trip to London with his family. They were near Marble Arch and they decided to get on a London bus number 7. The bus went trought strange part of London. There were very few cars around and all the streets, houses and even the people looked old-fashioned. 10 minutes later they got off the bus and went to their hotel. Nick's dad told receptionist about their tour. And she said, "the number 7 bus hasn't run since 1958!"

It was very strange, but in London he saw many sights.
Tower Bridge - Dating from 1894, this impressive bridge can open up to let boats and ships pass under it. You can visit the hight level walkways and get an incredible view down the River Thames and explore the Victorian engine rooms and find out how the bridge works.


We are so passionate about social networking sites that we forgive about all around us. But if we will use the internet rationally, then we have only avail, because there are a lot of interesting things in it.

For example, about etiquette.  In some parts of the world it's polite to eat all of the food on your plate at dinner but in China and Korea you should leave something. In Bulgaria nodding your head up and down means no, while shaking your head from side to side means yes.

There are many different diseases in the world. For example, you can cut finger; you can have a fever; have a nosebleed and other. But if you have a flu, you should: 1. Take a lot of pills.
                                                                                2. Sleep more.
                                                                                3. Wash your hands.

Also you can call to the doctor, wherever you are.
Millions of people around the world use the mobile phones to keep in touch with friends and family. 
And when your phone is on, the phone communicates to what we call a base station. A base station is a spicial antenna which can be on the top of a buiding or a communications tower. There are usually hundreds of base station in cities all over the world.

We can take our phones to the traveling. But Anna Jones didn't take her telephone to the her journey.And now you can hearing this.
Anna Jones took the Trans-Siberian Railway journey from Moscow to Vladivostock. She gives some tips for taking an amazing journey.
First, decide where you want to end up: Vladivostock or Beijing. Second: Ticket prices for the Trans-Siberian Railway are the same all year. Third: The Journey takes seven days and can be tiring, so break up the journey and see a lot of interesting places in Siberia along the way. Fourth: Purchase your tickets as soon as you`ve decided to do the trip. Fifth: Learn some Russian or have a phrasebook. Sixth: Be careful when hopping on and off the train not to miss it. Seventh: try local women`s food they cook at home and sell at railway stations.

I like different traveling and countries. But most of all I love my country- RUSSIA!!!!!! It is very beautiful and large!
